K-9 by tcherringComment by drewmedia: Brilliant. Love it. Love it. You've met the challenge with highest honors :) I'd like to see this a little brighter, but it doesn't ruin the photo by any means -- 10. |

K-9 by tcherringComment by clues56: This is the most clever of all. On top of being photographically good, the expression on the dog's face is priceless. A little like "I sneaked in here and surprised all of you' Perfect 10 |

K-9 by tcherringComment by Malokata: Ha, that's really cool. I just hope you didn't spraypaint this on there. Great picture, good composition, and I think the lighting, though a bit weak, works very nicely. |

Reachby tcherringComment by Jak: I'm guessing this is the shot I am reading about in the foum. Hmmm, I really don't like the effect (even it were legal). Jak |

Which came first?by tcherringComment by dsidwell: In this image, the border looks like it's encroaching on the image. This may be the photo that has been discussed for disqualification. I don't think it should be, but you are certainly pushing the limits. the border does add to the nostalgic feel of the image, which is well lighted and well composed, but not significantly. I guess it would depend on the target audience. Remember that with this group, it would seem, most DPC members prefer good photos to good post-photo work. As for the photo itself, I really do love the light and shadows, and you captured a very nice candid moment with this lovely child. The sparkle in the eye is just right and needed. I would like to see whiter whites and darker darks, but I'm kinda weird that way. I love this shot. |
