take offby tnunComment by bobonacus: Nice shot, I think I would have preferred less sea in the foreground, but that's just me! |

little snailby tnunComment by pixelpig: Yes, I like your notes. Adds a lot. You could probably have some fun working on levels, curves, etc., & get a better finished comp. Sometimes, that's all it takes. |

big horseby tnunComment by pixelpig: Excellent job on everything. If you get another chance at this active young horse you might get the mouth next time! "D |

big horseby tnunComment by JuliBoc: I like the strands of hay hanging in the mane. And I like the windows in the background. They balance the heavy close up of the subject. I like the b&w conversion -- nice contrast and light. |

little snailby tnunComment by JuliBoc: I like your story of trying to get this portrait. I really like it and envy it, because I haven't ever gotten a shot of a snail -- only empty shells. The tiny glass makes the snail look quite large -- interesting effect. I think its a terrific capture and composition. It lacks a bit of light. Perhaps a white balance adjustment, to make the background less gray would help. Try a curves layer in luminosity mode. |

some sheepby tnunComment by robinssong: Sheep are such cute animals. I think it's because they look like they are smiling. The larger sheep looks protective and the smaller one has such a sweet expression. Really nice composition, color and tones. I love the way the fence is used here. Nice one! |

big horseby tnunComment by bassbone: the perspective and close crop really emphasizes the long noise on these noble beasts
the choice of b/w is smart here to emphasize the tones and textures
i agree that the mouth missing is a bit unfortunate - but you did capture one great eye! |

little snailby tnunComment by bassbone: very cool snail - it is sure hard trying to get moving objects photographed well with a p&s
the image seems a bit underexposed - maybe a bit of level adjustment might do the trick to brighten in up |
