No crop, auto levels, colour balance, hue saturation adjustment, no USM, softglow, noise reduction, scale, sharpen. (The Gimp).

Another scene I often shoot when the light is nice. Again, I am not sure what I want out of it. Oh, and those 3 small dark spots are ducks.

Ah zz, but they DO shed as they see fit, but you only notice walking beneath them, crunch, crunch. Health to yours.

Ah yes, Arbutus, a handsome tree that never sheds its leaves. Planted one of these quite a ways off the ocean last year. It's doing well, with plenty of drainage.

nice mist shot here. The softness of the background is what makes it.

Thanks guys. Yes, MM, I do do that, but sometimes it feel like being in the middle of a long nightmarish story waiting to resolve itself. (love to exaggerate).

Very pretty scene! I have places that I shoot and wonder what it is that I am seeing there as well. The images usually look better to me after I am away from them for a while.

A very nice tranquil shot, I like it a lot, maybe off centering the tree even more would make it slightly better ... maybe not!
