small frogby tnunComment by tnun: Thanks for all comments. Will check original to see if noise is product of my processing. And k4ffy, this is an OLD 4 mp P&S: it's the Leica lens on it. |

take offby tnunComment by tnun: All interesting comments - great stuff to think about and try. And yes, closest waves are clearer, but I was spot focusing, I hoped, on the plane - maybe the angle of view. Will definitely give this other shots. |

horsetailsby tnunComment by bassbone: what an unusual and interesting plant - i don't recall ever seeing these before
the b/w really works here - with the background contrasting nicely against the vertical plants |

Scappaby tnunComment by MelonMusketeer: This is a very nice pooch portrait! I sort of like the B&W better than the color version. That's a great looking dog, and he has a noble job.
The rain drops add a lot to the overall scene. |

Scappaby tnunComment by JuliBoc: Such nice detail in the fur. I can almost feel the softness. Not sure about the use of b&w here. The color of the dog and eyes are so nice in the original. Still the conversion was well done. |

horsetailsby tnunComment by JuliBoc: I think I like the sepia better, but the rest of the processing is nice. I have never seen or heard of these things, and found your comments quite interesting.
P.S. I also made note of your style of shooting a low subject without lying on the ground. Good trick to remember. Message edited by author 2008-05-03 11:46:51. |

arbutus 2by tnunComment by JuliBoc: I think the first photo (with the Nikon) is better. This one is lacking the foggy mood of the first one. Probably for a fair comparison, the shots would have to be taken at the same time with the same conditions. Oh, and it looks like this image needs a little straightening. |

Evening Roundsby tnunComment by MaryO: Very cute :-) I like the composition and the bird's shadow adds a nice touch, along with the shadows of the fence we can't see. The bird himself looks a little plasticky to me. |
