Now this subject has multiple possibilities!!! Outstanding texture and colors available. While I know that macro shots are generally going to be quite shallow in DOF, this subject begs to show more in detail. Don't get me wrong - I like it overall. I almost feel like this could be cropped in some and more concentration put on a specific area.

Very nice detail and an interesting perspective of this flowering plant. The detail on the back petal is strong...I kind of wish all of the yellow was in focus (focal point started there and went back - need to go deeper, maybe f11 to do that). Just an observation. Overall I like this shot and have enjoyed it (gave me an idea too!). :-)
