The River - monoby dainmcgowanComment by 777STAN: Strong Dark Lines! Excellent B/W! I like the way the bridge draws the eyes through the photo...This would be tough to rate well because the bridge is about half-way between top & bottom, except for the fact that the boat on shore in the foreground anchors the whole photo. Result? Strong photograph over-all! :) |

The River - monoby dainmcgowanComment by Ken: Besides the really good B&W conversion, what makes this shot for me is the calm water contrasting against the sky. The lines and contrast lead my eye all over the canvas, only to discover new things. |

The River - monoby dainmcgowanComment by SandyP: How beautiful! There's so much to look at but composed so perfectly that it doesn't look too busy at all. The exposure is perfect showing the lights and the whites without a trace of blow-out. Wow! This is awesome.
