Both were one month early one was 5 lbs. 8 oz. and the other was 6 lbs. 15 oz. (which is huge for a one-month preemie). I understand your new, handsome, son was not a preemie, but the shot fit the competition beautifully, IMO. Be happy and healthy young one.

I hope that he or she is o.k., like digitalknight said(and probably why we both find it powerful)I've had a child in the nicu. My son was very premature he spent months and months in the NICU so this photo touches me. Congrats on the photo and the baby if it's yours. I'm pretty sure you guys were expecting one. :)

It reaffirms my decision to largely stay away from this place. Powerfully emotive. Great work - I hope the child isn't yours. If it is, I admire you even more for taking time to document this difficult time. I've had small ones in ICU, I learned a lot about myself and life, but would never wish it on anyone.
