wow jon .. dramatic image .. love the way the stair rail (wotever that is!!) just seems to, as you say, go to the sky .. it looks as if it goes right to heaven ... ie .. stairway to heaven !! ... i'm very tired .. been up since 3am and its now only after 8pm, but that's enough for me .. i'm going to bed .. for which you will grateful, coz then i wont be tempted to make any more inane comments on this excellent image .. it is excellent by the way!!:)

Oh. . the picture. . .that's right: AWESOME! The perspective is really striking. I'd like a picture of you taking this picture. You had to really get down there, didn't you. But it was worth it because the photo turned out great!
