I remember this one. It is a nicely posed and processed image. It does the story a credit.

I think it is a nice result. The border does make the viewer take the image seriously. It formalizes the photograph. Nice colours and subtle processing.

A good job with the post processing, gives it a really moody feel. Nice shot.

I see by the nails that this is a pic of a person who works in the dirt. If not, then it's a darn good illusion. Simple and tasteful.

Great idea and nice added touch of placing dirty older used candle in as well.

Awww, fudge! Just when I thought I couldn't do worst than my last entry...

I still think it is an interesting macro - I was trying to make something that looked like a sun since the elements that exist inside every living thing once existed in the belly of a star (go ahead, look it up, we're all made of stardust) - hence, "The Origins of Life".

Once I took the shot, I thought it looked like planet, or an egg, or a petri dish... - figured even if people didn't get MY impression they might just have the imagination to make their own!

Comment by Cordelia:
Hmmm, I am trying to guess: a microscopic image of a human egg? But then a 3/4 halo around it, the whole thing in blue against black, like the planet earth in the universe. Am not quite sure what I am looking at here. Still, I like the composition and colour combination.
