Nice overall depth of field on the eggs and the egg carton but a more shallow depth of field may have been better used in this photograph.

Great idea to choose brown eggs instead of white, but you made them just slightly too brown. The texture in the first eggshell seems okay
but the rest of the are blurred so you can't tell.

The table and light just behond the egg carton are very distracting, moves your subjects eyes away from your main focus almost immediately.

Would like to have seen sharper focus on the first two eggs and the first two or three humps of the carton.

You had a great idea and show lots of imagination for the challenge.
I also like the way you use the rule of 3rds here.

The patterns of the carton enhance the feeling of loneliness here. I just wish the eggs were more in focus as the title suggests they should be.
