The white space in the background is visually distracting. You could have cropped it and still kept the bluebells centered (except for perhaps the most dogmatic voters).

Lovely shot, nice dof. In this situation I might have picked the leaf that is casting the shadow on the front two (center) flowers. It is somewhat distracting and the shadow it casts is blocking the detail that we may otherwise see in the center of the picture. Good shot.

Guess I should quit on the IR stuff, even for the Abstract. People don't know what IR looks like or some that it exists. Not a great effort? Damn! (C:

I realize one could argue that this one in fact is centered, but I do get the feeling that it isn't. The blue bells catching the eye is way out of it and also not surrounding the center which would have helped out. On my TFT it looks a bit over-sharpened, something I manage to do a lot to my own images on my other (CRT) monitor. Skipping that last USM seems to be a good idea sometimes. It's nothing I'd take points off for, just a possibly useful hint.

I just love this portrait! It's simply awesome! The composition and cropping are so perfect. The lighting is nice and soft, and the mood conveyed in this shot is outstanding.

DOF is great but the foreground is taking too much attention. Maybe crop a little bit more from the bottom. But what do I know, it's abstract.

I don't know if black and white (or is it duotone?) is working too hard here. The shallow depth of field (too much blurring in the front) doesn't help. I have to say this isn't a great effort. Better luck next time! :D

The light touch of blue and pink doesn't work for me. It seems like it should be in color.

Looks like bean sprouts almost. Would like it better without the DOF causing the foreground to be sooo fuzzy.
