I'm just the opposite. I never go to parades because I was in so many as a teenager (marching band). Also, my oldest son is very sensitive to loud noises and they scare him still. Still, when I can get around to it, there is nothing like a parade! Candy or not. :)

Really fun, humorous shot!

My kids only like parades for the candy too. Come Labor Day weekend, I'm going to ask if they wouldn't rather just go to the grocery store and spend $3 on a candy variety pack, and skip the sitting in the hot sun hoping we can leave before the fire trucks start making us cover our ears.

I was just noticing the guy in the back and the way he is laughing so hard when I read your comments... this shot IS a lot of fun!! We only have 1 parade here a year and it is to celebrate strawberries :) You did good with the stopped action!
