I'm glad you selected this photo, it has such an interesting story behind it. This has good character details like the two flag pins and the Earnhardt cap, and then the broken front teeth, too. I think anyone can be uncomfortable with a camera pointed at them -- I hate photos of myself!

i hardly believe its the same dog .... he looks so perky!!! ... and yes i know photography can make ppl and dogs look very different with each different shot ... anyway ... my other dog sasha who is 14 years old is an absolute buggar too ... she whines to go out so you let her out ... not 2 seconds later she then whines to come in!!! & usually she hasnt actually done anything either, like take a pee .. its just walk outside and then immediately want to come in again ... so ok .. you let her in and buggar me she then whines to go out again .. usually i then let her out and leave her there ... fortunately she soon gets over being a pain and goes and amuses herself eating other animals droppings ... she has quite a amazing variety to choose from ... there are the sheep droppings of course, which would probably make up the bulk of her grazing ... then there are the wombat, kangaroo, rabbit, hare and possibly echidna droppings too ... she smells absolutely horrible ... there's nothing you can do, and if you live in the country then your dogs will eventually carry on like animals !!! .. i spoke to the vet coz i thought it was so gross and he said its actually not that bad for them and its very very common .. you look at their gorgeous faces and expressions and cant imagine they'd do anything so amazingly disgusting .. WRONG ... .. hope old barney doesnt put you thru such grossness ??!! :)

Comment by Ken:
As stated by others, the door does a nice job of framing the dog. The horizontal and vertical boards in the background add to it also.

Wonderful photo - I love the framing created by the door. Glad to hear that the little dude is doing well for the moment. I hope it holds and he'll continue to live a happy life.

Nice framing with the door and the nose prints add texture to the shot.

I hope the model didn't suffocate on that - the arabs use a very thin cloth
