Making a Fortressby lovemelvinComment by lovemelvin: Originally posted by Refocused: The branches are so interesting to look at. I like the way you enhanced them with the selective color. It would have been cool if the bird was facing the camera. |
Those are actually rusty (bent) metal rods protruding from a cement rock 😅 But you're right.. they look like branches |

43 Candidsby lovemelvinComment by kanaj: Compositionally very compelling. The fact that my eye goes right to the proud adults standing behind the graduate in the midst of this visually chaotic moment tells me this is a real photographer's candid capture. |

The One That Got Awayby lovemelvinComment by primabarbara: I admire the idea of using the crumpled paper as a background, along with the folded butterfly. To me, the combination of those two elements alone would have made for a perfect minimalist photograph. I find the small hand to be superfluous—indeed, almost distracting. |

The One That Got Awayby lovemelvinComment by PennyStreet: "I was June and you were my Johnny Cash." This could be a cover for the Katy Perry song (not that it's MY kind of music... hahahaha)
You handled the topic well, regardless of the intention. |
