Cloud Riderby CraftyComment by cebuloulou: Nice colors. I don't like that house just beyond the hill. If it wasn't for that, I would have scored it higher. As it is - 9 |

Gherkins Anyoneby CraftyComment by Teafran: The immediate impression is not a positive one. The highlights, while right on the edge of being edge of being over done, are very distracting and immediately draw the eye to them. This is very unfortunate technical issue because from an artistic sense, this would have been a very good minimalist image with some very interesting artistic aspects - notably, the interesting optical effect at the bottom of the glass and the pickles in the cup of the glass. A little more thought and lighting control would have given this image a high place in the challenge. |

Cloud Riderby CraftyComment by bob350: Normally I don't appreciate motorbike jump pictures, but this one really captures well a sense of exhileration. Nice to have interesting clouds that help the composition. Would like to see it without the building in the image, but realize choices are limited in such situations. |

Cloud Riderby CraftyComment by Teafran: Images like this are hard to properly evaluate because the presentation choice the author made is exactly the choice the reviewer wouldn't have made given the same situation. :>) It might work much better if the objects in the foreground had been cropped out entirely in this reviewer's opinion. Crisp and sharp riders are a plus although they appear to be very slightly over sharpened giving them a "composite" feel. An intersting action shot with unusual subject angles. Different. |
