Lots of potential but the straight on lighting hurts it. You could probably improve things in post with it but ideally it would have been better had your light source been further to the left so that the light would sweep from left to right and rake over your subject rather than hit it from straight on. You would probably need to have a fill light in front and to the right to compensate for the lost light but I think that setup would add more impact and make the textures pop.

This really doesn't seem to be up to par with the rest of your work. The tight crop and harsh lighting make this look more like a snap shot.

I really think this would be just as strong if not stronger without the crayons and stuff, it just makes it a bit too buisy and I think her red hair should be the focs here, also the left side has a shaddow in the backdrop. But I really like the lighting here.

Very nice lighting and pose set up. In advanced, you could of course get rid of those couple minor wrinkles in the background fabric, but not a big deal. One of the stronger entries I've seen in this challenge thus far.

ok, this seems more like a picture of a piano player. if you were really taking a picture of the piano, you could have done a much better job concentrating on what looks like some amazing wood grain, maybe the pattern of the keys, etc.

Not sure about this one, Judi (?). I'm not a fan of back shots, light seems a little harsh, not sure about the crop/frame. I like the idea though and the colors really pop. Just not the execution on this one.
