True Gritby karenkComment by emorgan49: Uh oh - this is going to get "monitor calibration" comments. It's never safe to enter something so dark because many monitors will see it as TOO dark. For me the hat (is he wearing a hat?) and everything above his eyebrows is completely dark except for a hint of hatband. (yes, I can see all the gradations of the darkness scale) |

Bleeding Heartsby karenkComment by Denise: almost looks like a cartoon character of a little girl with pigtails, beautifully done, great contrasting colors |

True Gritby karenkComment by Rgarcia: I like the sharpness and exposure. The black and white conversion is really well managed, but I'm not sure about the negative space on top. I would prefer a square crop with the eyes in the upper third, it would make a stronger composition IMO. |

Bleeding Heartsby karenkComment by mgsmith53: Nice light. Great color, without being too strong. They are beautiful. I was going to submit one, too, but didn't...glad, 'cuz yours is better! |

Bleeding Heartsby karenkComment by MaryO: Love the curve of the stem leading my eye through the shot and the flowers are perfectly lit and detailed. |

True Gritby karenkComment by bvy: Would have been more effective if more of his hat was visible. |
