Bilateral Gothic Archesby bassboneComment by noraneko: Wow - very nice entry, Peter! I'm sorry to say I didn't get to this one while voting, because you would have had another high score. Those starbursts of light are so well done, and the DOF is awesome. Great entry! |

Land Reclamation - One Stone at a Timeby bassboneComment by noraneko: Hi Peter, I think you've been getting robbed lately. I was one of your 7's, and I might have bumped it up had I gone back. I think this has a message, excellent DOF, and excellent composition. I suspect you got hurt by the very slightly blown areas on the sand - people are technical sticklers with this type of competition. Still think you got robbed on an excellent entry! |

A Cold, Lonely Goodbyeby bassboneComment by Phil: Don't know why I've just seen this for the first time but I'll say that this is my favorite image in this challenge. It's one of the few where the grain adds so much to an already wonderful capture. |

Land Reclamation - One Stone at a Timeby bassboneComment by kolasi: This is great, i dont know where to begin. The position of the horizon, the lines formed by the shadow of the boardwalk, the wooden poles, and the shoreline are perfect. The rock in the air...excellent!

Practicing for the Recitalby bassboneComment by lovethelight: I agree about the lamp, I think its a little too bright so it takes focus away from therest of the shot, however I love the lighting on the rest of the photo and this is a fantastic perspective |
