I think this definitely has such an emotive feel, I do like the outtakes a bit better though. I must admit your wife is a far more generous person than myself. I have just a couple of old dolls, and they barely leave the shelf. Looks like you've maintained her trust in you though.

Try reshooting with a Salvation Army doll (maybe missing hair and one limb, lol). This was a great image I felt.

Peter, I love this photo. It's perfect! I think you did the right think by keeping the doll clean. Even for a ribbon, some things are just more sacred :) And I think it is awesome just like it is.

thank you so much for your comment on my dragonfly .. i was thinking along those lines myself .. a blue for a yellow .. and yes it would make green .. maybe some ppl ..!! .. especially coz i dont reckon it was the best in the challenge anyway .. :)
