Owl with Attitude by bassboneComment by DrAchoo: I just love Snowy Owls. I had a chance to try to shoot one while I shot the Peregrine Falcon for Wildlife. That experience makes your picture more impressive. A) The Owl just wouldn't look at me, so the head on view is great. B) They have so much fluff it's easy for the pic to quickly turn into an abstract of an eye here and a beak there among a mass of white. Great job! |

Cheers!by bassboneComment by tiffanyleski: A couple of problems I find with this photograph: The way the Jameson bottle is cut off, and the table cloth. The cloth makes things too busy; Something simpler would've worked better, IMHO. And the cut of the Jameson bottle just looks so odd to me. Either a higher crop so we can see the whole bottle, or maybe laying it on its side, would've made it better. |
