 This old service station in rural Vermont has a lot of charm. The guys work hard on all sorts of cars and trucks. They don't sell gasoline anymore, but they have many of the remnants of days gone by.

Editing: Crop, hue/saturation, exposure adjustment, curves, selective color, levels, resize for web, smart sharpen.

Thanks to the commenters who stopped by my little corner of DPC. This shot really does so much better at high resolution, and I was unable to capture the same feel in this 640px image. Alas, I should have probably abstained from entering this...

I don't know why you would think you should've not entered this. The colors and lighting are great, as is the crop.

Free air is such a rare thing anymore. I like this semi-absract view. Nice bold reds and strong contrast.
