Congratulations on winning the red ribbon. The deep black background brings out the details of the plumage and the bright colors of the beak and legs. It's a more dramatic, almost cinematic atmosphere. The feathers are rendered with remarkable finesse you can almost feel their softness and density. It's a very expressive, almost majestic photo.
