DAY 1 . where i live ... i feel like a voyeur!!by rozComment by DjFenzl: wow, you may not have done a whole lot to it but you still did a wonderful job processing this. It has a very magical "Fairy Land" sort of feel to it.
The only thing I'd change is to maybe burn down the roof of the barn a bit, with it so bright and fairly centered it detracts a little from the wonderful leaves. |

... an entrance in ruins ...by rozComment by skewsme: Sheesh. There's nothing wrong with your photograph. I think there must be some hex on the sad, crumbly foundations of destroyed homes. There's one near us that I try shooting in all sorts of light and no matter what I do, it never looks as interesting in 2D. That said, I bet that if this had been an advanced challenge, you would have been able to apply some funky processing to increase the curb appeal :)
Well, on the bright side, it wasn't your house!

close-up of fence postby rozComment by MelonMusketeer: I get an interesting perception of very cold, with something not quite right, because of the very alive looking green in the frosty looking background. The green seems to add to the perception of cold for some reason. Good PP to make this what it is. You were probably right about not putting it into the "Shallow" challenge. |
