The photo - I love it. It looks like there is something mysterious in those woods... and the foreground of grass is nice, too.

I think they're interesting trees (I guess that's because we don't have them here!). I like how they look part dead and part living. I like the light in this photo.

Interesting how you upped the sharpening in camera but it still is not sharp.

roz - that's gorgeous!! I love the crips colors and the perspective - total winner (so to speak). You were asking me about my palm picture - I didn't use a polarizing filter on that photo. The sky is actually that crazy blue here. I did saturate a bit to add some color to those dried up palms, though.

Yes, it is a shame about the poles, but remember - next week you can edit them out! I really like the lines in this photo. The cloud line and the horizon are both echoed in the fence. Nicely seen and photographed.

Great exposure, you've really got a lot to work with here. In the edit it'd be great to see the colours pushed and a little bit of sharpening. Excellent first shot.

Very interesting entry. I like the way most of the photo appears to be underexposed. Really draws the eye to the train.
