I agree with some other commenters that more detail in the fence would be interesting. There's a lot going on in this shot - I think that highlighting the fence would also help provide a strong focal point.

I like the idea here, too, and some cropping (I'd lop off nearly everything to the left of that little pipe/sign area, I think) will bring the idea home more clearly. Looking forward to the "real" version!
