DAY 7. unedited. FACES .by rozComment by noraneko: This already has a natural vignette - an excellent capture indeed. I agree this is very captivating as is. Great "environmental portrait"! |

DAY 5. edited. train version 3.by rozComment by cogerox: The rescaling really changed the feel of the picture. Before, you wandered how the heck you got under there to get the shot. After, the focus is on all of the details in the under carriage of a train. Very cool idea. I also like that you edited so many different versions - it's just amazing how different they all are. I'm sure you would rather have been sleeping. |

- discarded -by rozComment by bassbone: very nice use of contrast and grain to make this have the feel of a film b/w for the sections of the photo in focus. the only issue I have is the oof areas have a little of a blotchy look to them |

IMG_9186 bush scene processed-s4w.jpgby rozComment by MelonMusketeer: I am intrigued by the contours of the land here where the road goes thru the bank. I like the way you took the color out of the trees with this one, which puts more attention on the shape of the ground in the center of the image.
Where the blue sky meets the trees, the edges seem a little hard with the blue being so saturated, and the limbs so light at that point. I am not exactly sure about how it works, but just saying what I am seeing without candy coating it. : )
Love the way the tan soil and reflection split at the center so that it looks like a fallen tree trunk at first glance, and you accented that with the pp.
It's a very "bush country" looking image with the rural roadway and water. |

DAY 3. edited. kangaroos .by rozComment by MelonMusketeer: You are making me want to learn how to do the Photoshop magic. What started as just an unremarkable image with potential has been turned into a solid keeper by your skills with the "fix it" toys. The final image conveys the sense of wild and civilization overlap that you were seeing very well.

DAY 3. edited. fence .by rozComment by cogerox: Wow, roz, exactly as I saw it! (Tongue in cheek, sarcastic tone available upon request). No, all kidding aside, this is a wonderful editing job. You've added detail in the dark areas, and really created a stunning photograph. I love this perspective. |
