IMG_9186 bush scene processed-s4w.jpgby rozComment by MelonMusketeer: I am intrigued by the contours of the land here where the road goes thru the bank. I like the way you took the color out of the trees with this one, which puts more attention on the shape of the ground in the center of the image.
Where the blue sky meets the trees, the edges seem a little hard with the blue being so saturated, and the limbs so light at that point. I am not exactly sure about how it works, but just saying what I am seeing without candy coating it. : )
Love the way the tan soil and reflection split at the center so that it looks like a fallen tree trunk at first glance, and you accented that with the pp.
It's a very "bush country" looking image with the rural roadway and water. |

DAY 3. edited. kangaroos .by rozComment by MelonMusketeer: You are making me want to learn how to do the Photoshop magic. What started as just an unremarkable image with potential has been turned into a solid keeper by your skills with the "fix it" toys. The final image conveys the sense of wild and civilization overlap that you were seeing very well.

DAY 3. edited. fence .by rozComment by cogerox: Wow, roz, exactly as I saw it! (Tongue in cheek, sarcastic tone available upon request). No, all kidding aside, this is a wonderful editing job. You've added detail in the dark areas, and really created a stunning photograph. I love this perspective. |

IMG_9324 outta-here-s4w.jpgby rozComment by cogerox: Wow, moving KT was something I not only wouldn't have thought of, but neither would have known how to do. Maybe there's a relationship there. I think you have captured a pretty nice candid mement in the animal world, here. I think a simple title like "Give me back my apple" would go a long way toward explaining the action and the humor. I think it's a great shot.
Editied to add: And now I notice that you have added just such a title. Message edited by author 2007-03-18 10:52:07. |

DAY 3. edited. kangaroos .by rozComment by Alicia: Roz, this photo is so interesting! Definitely unusual and eye-catching. You did a great job with the PP - that took some creativity. The whole thing now has an alien/vintage look. I like it! |
