DAY 18.5. B&W. of life & death ..by rozComment by SandyP: Wow! This is really emotive. The bug and web make it kind of creepy -- but like it is supposed to look. Really amazing for you to see the "photo" in this. It's great!

DAY 18. B&W. the 'good' and the 'bad' ...by rozComment by SandyP: Yeah, its a shame to mess up what looks like an obviously beautiful stained glass window with wire mesh :( How people are brave enough to vandalize a church at the risk of. . .I don't know. . .their souls or something. But it does make a very interesting photograph, and I think the sharpening works great.
I love your stories, Roz! I love how you are so conversational -- its like really hanging out with you. You're awesome!

DAY 18. B&W. the 'good' and the 'bad' ...by rozComment by sherpet: What an amazing textural effect this has, re the wonderful stained glass church windows, covered with this wire netting for protection.....
Definately something one doesn't see everyday.
The effect almost looks like lace.....
Thanks for sharing this one with us Roz..... |

DAY 17. B&W. wattle ..by rozComment by jonfrommk: Roz, so many of your pictures make me smile!!!
This is beautiful, sharp, great tones and contrast
but the thing I really love about it is the fact that the background almost looks it should be a shadow of the main subject (as if it was shot in a studio) then when you look at the 'shadow' shapes you realise that they are very different to the subject and it gives you a real 'what????' sensation (in a good way)
