Very sharp and great detail.I usually can't get insects in focus hand held and close up with my macro lens. My hands aren't steady enough or the breeze causes motion blur.
What were you settings?
Oh and the muted grey green background sets off the bee beautifully.

Do you have the blue banded bees and the teddy-bear bees in your area? We get both around the house from time to time but I haven't seen them for a while. They are solitary and I always get excited when I see one.
