6-april 08. insects & incidentals. smallby rozComment by cogerox: Another masterpiece! This one has very muted tones which I like a lot. Because of the overlay, I guess, he seems to be crawling on a piece of glass - almost as though he's peering down through it. Congrats, btw, on your recent great finishes - a blue and a fourth if I remember correctly. |

dancing dropletsby rozComment by colorcarnival: Hi Roz - I gave this an 8 during the challenge. I thought this was sooooo pretty and natural. I loved the clarity of the water and how the drops were floating in the air. Beautiful contrast with the greens too. |

anatomy of a robberfly by rozComment by Quigley: Roz: you never cease to amaze me with your talent. The patients you have for this kind of shot speaks volumes to the type of photographer you are.
This normally mundane insect passes under our noses as a pest and causes many people much grief, but you have this unbelievable talent to capture the beauty that this creature has and is usually seen by its mate and show it to us in such a fashion that I find inspiring.
I love the macro shots you take of insects and will endeavor to do some of my own now that I see the beauty that they posses and the vibrant colours the mother nature has for us to see.
Thank you Roz. You are truly one of the best this site has to offer.
Keep them coming Roz YOU ROCK.
All the best
