Week 2 - The Argumentby AnnComment by dsterner: OUCH - sunny California - urban nature - a photographer's paradise?!? ...all I have is a drunk friend from new year's eve and a broken bridge in my park (when I can get to it)
Just kidding - this is a great find and I hope you take advantage while they are around.
I almost shotphotographed some turkeys crossing the road, but they hurried away into the woods as I skidded to a stop on the icy road ;) You are doing great! |

Week 2 - The Argumentby AnnComment by ShutterPug: What a cool shot. It looks as if the pelicans are having a heated discussion while the seagull stands back and observes it all.
Love the colors and action |

Week 2 - The Argumentby AnnComment by kteach: They really DO look angry at each other! The guy on the left with his head down glaring at the one on the right who is just scolding the other two. And in the background, the innocent little seagull just looking up and taking it all in. Great contrasting colors and textures here too. Wonderful shot! :) |

Week 1 - Paradiseby AnnComment by hajeka: Beautiful colored flower. I like the drops on the red. Perhaps it could use just a little more contrast. |

Week 1 - Paradiseby AnnComment by Ken: Lovely colors and detail. I like how the lines lead to a point of convergence. As far as the DOF, you can probably stop down a bit, but that may not be enough. You can also back up but then you may not be close enough to get the detail. If you do get the flower in focus but also the background, you'll need to blur it. If you need help just shout out in the thread. |
