Sea Gullby whiterookComment by goinskiing: Seagulls will love all the trash we'd leave behind. May be a tad of a stretch for the topic. A little more sharpness and contrast would help it pop some. |

Happy Birthday Christby whiterookComment by Lydia: I love it that you're showing the birthday of the king! I think the lightness of the windows draws the viewer's eyes to those spots, though, instead of to your subject.
*sigh* |

Christmas Treeby whiterookComment by dtremain: As I'm sure you discovered, glass globes are very difficult to get a good picture of. However, you got a great picture of this one! I think the shot would have been more effective if you'd set the globe on the white cloth used for the background, made the background smooth (the wrinkles / folds detract a lot), and kept the near side of the base in the frame. My wife tells me that you should only trim a subject symmetrically - that is, if you crop off part of the object on the bottom, you should also crop a bit off the top too - same for both sides, rather than just one. |

Sea Gullby whiterookComment by senor_kasper: Wow rook!! Perfect focus and exposure, no noise, no sensor dust; did you get a new camera? And I think you are right, the birds evolved from the extinct dinosaurs and will likely outlive us. |
