I am not keen on the external part of the border. This may not have been the best time of the day to photograph this particular scene - the haziness may be caused by shooting in to the light (as indicated by the shadows). That said, you have a well composed shot with a nice sweep of the fence leading the eye.

I love the fact that they dq'd the photo because you took it before the challenge started & because the evidence for such was plastered across the bottom right of your submission! They could have used the very fact that you have the date there as a reason but I'm so glad they pursued the path of irony...

Whatever software you used to create this "frame" effect on your border is nice. But the picture is way, way too washed out and overexposed. It's just not attractive and makes me feel like I should be squinting.
