Here is a quick and easy way to check your horizon: pull down the scroll bar (on the right hand side of the window) to move your photo UPwards. Stop when the horizon starts to disappear - you'll see that the right hand side hits the top of the window long before the left side does.

crooked horizon and the colors could be a lot more vibrant

I don't see the horizon is slanted. The earth is not flat. Thanks for everybody vote higher than 3 and especially person higher than 5 or more.

NO offense meant of course but when I first saw this shot, I just went looking all over for the subject of this photo and found nothing of interest. Simply put, I view this photo and think to myself "this is a photo of nothing". Had you included something, like a boat, bridge, cliff or the sun rising it would have been a different matter :) As it is though it´s hard to vote this anything but a 5 as it´s hardly bad but not good either. Oh and a friendly pice of advice unless you plainly forgot or didn´t have time, try to fix slanted horizons next time, they tend to drag your scores down here at DPC :)

Like the theme, but the horizon is rather slanted? Good luck.

Pretty and crisp, but the titled horizon detracts.

You should correct that tilted horizon.

Too much empty space for me, but I love the colors.

Nice idea, I'd have been tempted to adjust for the horizon.

Good colors. When a water horizont is not totally horizontal you get the feeling that the water will start rushing to the left side. I would alos recomend you not to compress the picture this much. JPEG artifacts can be seen where water and sky meet, try optimizing JPEG compression so that you use as much of the 150kb you are allowed.

pretty colors, but nothing overly special about this shot. Would have been better with something in the picture besides water and sky, like a lighthouse or boat or something.

It's really pretty, though a little boring.

The horizon is slightly off level, but not enough to suggest it's deliberate, and the whole shot is a bit flat.

Tilting is disturbing me, why not aligning it? These shots are not easy, but it is somewhat unsharp and noisy at the same time. I am sure I am not the only one mentioning this ...
