Rhododendronby whiterookComment by adine: Tow colors of rhododendrons - fine. But your composition doesn't really say double to me - your subject roams around the left and top edge of the frame, and is lost by all the leaves. The viewer's eyes wander about aimlessly, end up on the rocks at the bottom right. crop tighter on the lush pink bloom in the foreground with the darker blooms behind, perhaps out of focus, but still this sort of composition would ask the viewer to contrast the two similar things. |

Rhododendronby whiterookComment by trevytrev: Your photo seems to be lacking contrast and the empty space on the lower right of the frame draws attention away from the flowers. Maybe a shift to the the left would have helped or a tighter crop. |

Rhododendronby whiterookComment by luvmyaussie: A closer crop would look better in this one. This doesn't seem to follow the Double Take criteria. Needs more contrast - looks a bit washed out on the monitor. |

april shower get May flowersby whiterookComment by JJWoolls: Does not fit the competition well for me. I think a closer crop of the flowers would make the picture better. Maybe crop it so that the big flower is not in the middle as well..
I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism...... |

pathway to upwardby whiterookComment by SaraR: Exposure is sound, but the tilted horizon, combined with the uninteresting subject matter lead me to give a low score. |

pathway to upwardby whiterookComment by Brad: The odd tilt and the overall contrast is too high and leaves it harsh enough that it is hard to look at for any length of time. |
