I'm all eyesby whiterookComment by dtremain: Nice bird image. I really like that the bird appears to be looking at you, and the feather lifted up by the wind. Wonderful detail and texture in the feathers.
Not sure why, but to me the head looks a bit soft - perhaps a bit more dof? On the other hand, this is a great example of using a blurred background to make your main subject stand out.
To me, this is a very peaceful image - calming, encouraging. |

Home run trot by whiterookComment by emoons: First of all...I love baseball.
This image, to me, just seems like an average shot at a game. Maybe if the background were super blurry and almost kind of a dreamy feel...like the feeling you get when you hit a homerun and you are rounding the bases... |
