Nice bird image. I really like that the bird appears to be looking at you, and the feather lifted up by the wind. Wonderful detail and texture in the feathers.
Not sure why, but to me the head looks a bit soft - perhaps a bit more dof? On the other hand, this is a great example of using a blurred background to make your main subject stand out.
To me, this is a very peaceful image - calming, encouraging. |

Few things excite me more than an animal's eyes. Few things inspire me more than nature. Nature, my friend, IS the story to tell. Lovely bokeh. Background is working well.
