Hi whiterook. The camera flash is pretty harsh, you should try to use some diffused light. You haven't gotten the solid chessboard yet that someone recommended some time back that would help improve the presentation.

I can't see the crow. But technically this falls short. It's very noisy (ISO noise?) and out of focus, and there's a noticeable halo around the bird.

Hi Whiterook, you really need to try harder and not just enter something for the sake of it. Before entering a shot, do you ask yourself "Is this the best I can do for this challenge? Does it inspire? Do I feel that I have captured the essence of the scene?"

Seriously, you need to take more time when thinking about entering a shot. Lots of people on this site will willingly offer you guidance. However, if you are just shooting for the hell of it the go for it dude!!

good positioning of the osprey but the sky noise and the halo around the bird really detract - some noise reduction such as noise ninja or neat image could clearly help out here
