Hush Now, Don't You Cryby noranekoComment by JuliBoc: This was one of my favorites. I gave it a 9. That toy in the cradle doesn't look quite like it belongs, but I figured this was some sort of museum room, so you couldn't do anything about that. But I think it hurts the composition. Nice lighting, and I don't mind the highlight on the bed. |

Minimal Edit PAD 6 "Pelican Prow"by noranekoComment by MelonMusketeer: I feel that you adjusted exposure just about right for this with all the white in it. Good DOF too, but you don't say what aperture was used. I like your pelicans. They are a water front icon, so they get into a lot of photos. |

Minimal Edit PAD 6 "Pelican Prow"by noranekoComment by roz: an amazing shot that's perfect just the way it is .. of course that's before i see how you edit it ... perfect will just become more perfect ... i personally dont think the underexposure is a problem, i'd say it just give this more depth ... i love your composition .... love that water and the refection ... excellent .. |

Minimal Edit PAD 6 "Pelican Prow"by noranekoComment by bassbone: I like the angle of the shot - looking down the bow of the boat works really well. Your decision to underexpose makes a lot of sense - you have a lot of white in this photo and you can dodge/ burn or selectively brighten areas of this a little to pop it more. |
