I like your idea - but from a technical perspective it's not good enough. Your picture looks grainy, colour temperature looks wrong and it could use some contrast.

This image holds a lot of interest to it, with the out-of-focus background in the upper left corner, and the extreme clarity of the pen. All together, it is a well put together image and has a nice feel to it. Nice work!

Hi Deb - nice idea! One suggestion for you to try if you want to keep this pic for your own use... I'd crop off some of the bottom, to cut out some of the grass and maybe even the path. And then play with contrast - you need to bring out some brightness in the pic to play against the darker color of the trees. Try it and I think you'll be surprised at how different the pic looks. Keep 'em coming!
