Nexen Buildingby CitadelComment by sfalice: Greetings from the Critique Club
What futuristic find you photographed. Good one. I really like the way you actually continued the 'in the future' look with your colorful processing. the cloud formations and sky coloring worked in your favor as well.
I wonder if that dark shadow (another cloud?) in the lower right section of your image bothered your score? Maybe the building just has that coloration or perhaps something else cast a shadow, but unexplained dark area may have been a distraction to our voting public.
It is an interesting building and you captured it well.
Best regards,
Alice |

Nexen Buildingby CitadelComment by Techo: Very nicely composed and toned. My only nitpick is that it looks oversharpened. There are a number of techniques, one that I think would be nice here is where you resize down to twice the size of the intended websized resolution, sharpen up twice and then apply the final resize. Some people call it Adamus sharpening. |

Tower of Rustby CitadelComment by paynekj: It's a marvellous capture of the building, but you've got some very obvious editing artefacts in the sky - some very straight edges. |

Tower of Rustby CitadelComment by herfotoman: After staring at the picture for a lon while, I suddenly realised that there were half-moons of dust? right round the building. Is it an optical illusion? |
