P&S Day 6 - Crocksby JuliBocComment by bassbone: this is an extremely cheery image - the bright candy colored shoes really remind us that summer is just around the corner |

Blondby JuliBocComment by Haneck: Something about the quality or focus here seems a little soft. Perhaps that was on purpose, but I'm not sure because the stuffed animal seems to be in sharper focus than the boy. In any case, this is very cute, although a different, more interesting composition might help give the photo more impact. |

Blondby JuliBocComment by albc28: The child is actually out of focus and the white object (assume a teddy bear or something) is in focus. |

P&S Day 8 - Waitressby JuliBocComment by tnun: Visually pleasing. Totally in favour of play. Can't help noticing that in this one the background figure on the right looks he has a bandanna across his face and nose, but now I see what I took for his mouth is the side of his glasses. |

P&S Day 10 - Wetlandsby JuliBocComment by pixelpig: I've had some very similar experiences--I create a richly colorful, detailed comp & when it saves for web it becomes something else. Which leads me to wonder if that's not the explanation for why so many of the winning photos on competition sites seem simplified to my eye. Hm. Interesting thought. On this ViewSonic monitor the greens are fabulous but I'm loosing the flowers unless I zoom in by getting my eyes closer to the screen. It's good to experiment. |

P&S Day 8 - Waitressby JuliBocComment by tpbremer: I guess its okay, but I'm unsure of what you were going for. Personally I prefer your original--maybe because you lost most of your shadows in the edit. |
