Interesting. After seeing so many portraits with a lot if not excessive shallow DoF I encounter this one which is completely the opposite. The result is striking. As a personal portrait I think it should work wonderfully, however I am not too sure if it appeals generally. The hand and background seems too distracting, the expression is not clear in its emotional effect. Feels slightly posed, maybe... In conclusion, an out of the ordinary picture that stands out from the rest - this means an 8 maybe 9 after looking all.

Lovely shot with a beautiful subject. Would have been far better with some enhanced contrast and some creative editing to lighten that far wall.

I like how he seems too big for the frame within the frame, and how the outside world also seems too big for this frame. It makes the picture seem unstable, like it's about to fall apart, which makes it exciting.

Nice portrait... I like the way you've included some of her surroundings and the gesturing is very good. The burnt out highlights on her face is not good though...
