Pierby Noel_ZHComment by Noel_ZH: Hi wavelength,
sorry for the confusion, I did take the color layer back, used gaussian blur on it and put it over the b/w as overlay style. The rest is just playing with dodge & burn, using color balance, levels and some gradients to bring the foreground into focus. I could definitely try to make a thread about it. Thanks for your comments :D |

Zurich, Pier Fishingby Noel_ZHComment by Majanka: I like this very much! I didn't make a good night pic jet so I try to look at as much night pics so I can learn something. They don't teach this in Photographie school.....:( |

Pierby Noel_ZHComment by wavelength: holy crap, shades of chromasia.com not sure I've seen anyone emulate him so well (intentional or not)
I would absolutely love for you to post the steps in a thread. How did you get all that color from a seemingly b/w image? |

Zurich Seefeldby Noel_ZHComment by Noel_ZH: Think you're right on the tilt, good look. Regarding the crisp, I did sharpen it, but it is a nice cam otherwise :) |

Zurich Seefeldby Noel_ZHComment by Melethia: The camera apparently does very well with night shots. Very crisp and clean. I like the centered composition, but it does feel like it has a very slight tilt to the left. |
