The flagpole not being in the center is a good thing. The car on the left and those in the parking lot on the right gives it a bit of a snapshot feel. The horizon is also notably tilted, possibly due to a perspective problem. I also dont really see any deliberate soft focus to create a mood. Working on different perspectives and angles and being aware of what's in the background can be helpful to composition.

Good points Title is everything and I feel bad for not giving it a good score. I do think it's great that he has survived such a horrible thing, but as an image it doesn't work for me. sorry.

Nice, and good sentiment. I am not sure of the significance of taking it while shaving, or with his eyes so closed, but the overall impression is one of snapshot.

Nice title here. Shows a sad but good side. Having a relative myself who's come through this I know you thankful we all are that they are still around and doing fine.

I would have liked the picture to be a little less blue, the tiles are blue, but his t-shirt looks too blue when it is grey. Still, I really like this! 9
