With Apologies... Yet Another Hibiscusby smurfguyComment by hotpasta: It's best not to apologies for your work, especially in your title. This is a wonderful image, I love the colours and depth of field. Not great Bokeh in the sense of how I understand it to be, but lovely 7 |

Misty Shadowsby smurfguyComment by photojournaliste: Good thinking for the use of light... but I'm not sure that the soft diffuse light created by the mist goes well with the harshness of direct sunlight into your lens... |

Sunset Over the Rockiesby smurfguyComment by smurfguy: Thanks for your comments all. I was a little bummed because I was above 6 for most of the week, and was hoping to stay there. Indeed, the crop is tight, but there wasn't much I could do. I wanted the whole scene horizontally, and - dirty civilization - there was an apartment complex just below the tree. =)
I'm just glad to have caught the image on my way home from work! Message edited by author 2006-10-11 10:16:53. |

Sunset Over the Rockiesby smurfguyComment by meggiemoo: I really enjoy how you captured the light here. It is just magnificent, but the way you cropped it makes me think that you are hiding something on the lower part of the original picture. Maybe if that little tuft of the top of that tree weren't there I wouldn't think so. That aside this is one of my favorite pictures in this challenge. |

The Information Ageby smurfguyComment by pineapple: I think, all things considered, you did a good job. You even improved on the image by reducing it to a sepia tint - which does suggest the fast aging process of processors! That one is probably already a thing of the past never to be seen again. |
