Reaching for the lightby ladpupmoeComment by pncowley: Very nice shot, technically. I like the contrast of both the lighitng and the sharp edges of the plant against the smooth, almost rounded background and vase. One nitpick is that the shot is not perfectly vertical-- this detracts significantly, in my opinion. --8 |

Reaching for the lightby ladpupmoeComment by ellamay: subtleties in lighting and tones is really nice, the lonely flower fits the feel of the shot, the vase itself is a little overpowering IMO, too dark and too big and/or ornate for the flower. but what do I now, keep up the efforts. |

Reaching for the lightby ladpupmoeComment by robsmith: Love this picture, the exposure and lighting is superb. It's does appear to be leaning to the right slightly though, except for the right of the image, and the tonality is different on the right. |

Reaching for the lightby ladpupmoeComment by JPR: good lines. should have reached for a light yourself rather than relying only on the light coming in through the blinds. a soft filtered light on the flower would have helped a lot. |
