Your subject is fab for the challenge. I don't really like the green blanket. I assume you wanted the "softness" of the blanket, and perhaps the contrast in texture to the pepper, it just doesn't work for me.

For some, defining abstract is difficult. For me, when I'm allowed to wander through an image without any idea what I'm supposed to see it begins to fall into the category. But in order to be a good abstract, it needs form and space and, in this case, color. That makes sense to me. I could argue about the title but somehow that makes sense here too. Good one.

I like the lines of ribbons a lot. But I'm confused by the yellow splotches in the white areas. I don't know if it's meant to be an overlay, or what. But it makes it look kind of dirty. :( Cool design, but that background makes it unappealing, imo. sorry!
