Though it is real. Get on a plane. Hold a polariser up to your eye and look out the window. That's really what it looks like :)

(I do know sort of what you mean but I have the same issues explaining it)

It is real. It just looks very unnatural, even though it is entirely natural.

Thanks, Gordon, for teaching me what a polarizer can do. I would've voted higher had I known, but I'd still say it's a little too colorful for a purely photography site. I don't know how to explain it better, but I'm looking for some realism in photos. But as I said during the challenge, as an art piece it's very pretty. :)
