Haroldby GordonComment by Moatz: I love this capture. He looks like he is very deep in thought. The colors are also very nice, the red hat and white shirt are very nice against the green background. My only critique would be the red in the border, I could do without it, but that is minor. Overall, I really like this, great job! |

Haroldby GordonComment by shalrath: Very nice portrait. I particularly like the harsh shadows on his face, they bring out a lot of chararacter. Complimetary colours are nice, too. 8 |

Haroldby GordonComment by ordinaryangel: The yellow overtone here seems a bit strong. I would like to see how this would look as a b&w. Clearer focus on the eyes would have given this shot more impact IMO. |

Haroldby GordonComment by klstover: Something seems off about the colors - I think that his hair and eye seem a bit too yellow. I like his expression! |

Haroldby GordonComment by Ivory: Very nice portrait, love the lighting and his facial expression is great. The red had really adds to the shot, good luck. |

Savannahby GordonComment by levyj413: Congrats for sticking out the score. I think you should copy your comments from the blur side challenge into your notes here, because they're perfect. They also help me appreciate this. |

Savannahby GordonComment by hihosilver: I know from experience what a long week this must have been for you. But, I also know you'll pull out a blue ribbon for the next challenge from your magician's hat!! :-) |

Savannahby GordonComment by annig: notes from the "blur" side challenge: without noticing you had entered this in Impressionism, the first thought that came to mind is how clearly this would have fit! i am stunned you landed so near the bottom of the pack..the colors & the effect are perfect. With all the "filters effect" griping that's been going on around here, I cannot imagine why you did not score higher. |

Savannahby GordonComment by jmritz: Like the bokeh in the foreground. After a month and a half of looking at blurry photos this has a feeling of normalcy about it. That shade sure looks inviting, could sit under one of those trees in a second if I were there. |
